Who am I Hello, I’m Richard, and this is my blog for what it’s worth. Depending on the day, that’s somewhere between “quite a lot” and “about tuppence”. What you’ll find here Whatever has caught my attention. In 2020 that meant passwords, HTTPS, online anonymity, apps I downloaded and promptly forgot, and an unreasonable amount of fuss over what words like “democracy” and “cognitive dissonance” actually mean. Expect more of the same, filed under Tech, Internet, Politics and Life Thoughts, plus whatever I’ve learned (or got wrong) along the way. A fair warning I’ve been called contrary, and I can’t really argue. I can be talkative and quiet, open and guarded, sometimes in the same afternoon. The blog is probably the same. About the gaps My relationship with this blog has been off, on, off, on, off. New posts turn up when I have something to say. There’s no schedule and no promises. I’m not chasing followers, but if something here makes you think, or makes you want to disagree, I’d like to hear about it. Comments are open.
